Adult Autism/ADHD Assessment

Adult Autism & ADHD Neuroaffirming Assessments

Autism & ADHD Assessments

A Neuroaffirming assessment answers the questions:

  • Am I Autistic?
  • Do I have ADHD?

This is an identification service for adults (18yrs+) where we gather information to diagnose either or both neurotypes.

You will have the choice of either having a summary letter or a comprehensive report at the end of the assessment.

  • Summary Letter: A summary letter will provide a formal diagnosis, and a summary of the test results.
  • Comprehensive Report: A comprehensive report will provide a formal diagnosis, a discussion of the test results, relevant history, evidence supporting the diagnosis from the interview, and recommendations.

NDIS X

This report will likely not be accepted by NDIS as part of an application for support. NDIS generally requires a functional capacity assessment as well as a diagnosis.

  • Diagnosis: A diagnosis is the identification of Autism or ADHD (The letter/report will provide this)
  • Functional Capacity Assessment: A functional capacity assessment explores how much a person is actively disabled by their environment.

NDIS usually requires a report that provides a diagnosis, and explains the extent of the disability, and how this disability impacts your daily life. The level of evidence and write up required for these reports can be very time consuming and therefore become quite costly. At this stage I do not offer NDIS reports.
